Joss Whedon created a character that was so badass, female empowering, could kill you with a glare or a gun, didn’t take shit from anyone, yet was still extremely compassionate, the leading lady, and she was a prostitute. Cancelling Firefly was one of the biggest mistakes Fox has ever made. Each of Joss’s women have what it takes to change people’s minds, but I would have loved to have seen more of Inara.
